Research Manager. Big Fish Games, November 2007 - October 2009

Design and oversee construction of a state-of-the-art research lab specifically targeted to mobile and multi-player user experience (UX) research. Hire and lead a top-notch 4-person team to deliver qualitative and quantitative reports (including conceptual field research, prototype, alpha usability reports and market research survey and beta scores).

Usability Consultant. Iterative Design, January 2002 - Current

Conduct product design and usability research for Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, and start-ups including mobile, web, ERPII, collaborative, e-commerce, financial, and automotive engineering software. Guest lecturer at UW (2003 - current) and present professional conference tutorials.

Conduct usability research on wireless data applications, coordinate usability lab construction, expand user-centered design process with activities including user testing, paper prototyping, field research, diary studies, and heuristic reviews.

Design and evaluate graphical user interfaces and instructional multimedia for the engineering community, perform usability testing, design web sites, research human factors guidelines for on-line electronic textbook and engineering curriculum using SUN SPARCstation, PC, MAC in Statistics and Human Factors Department.

Conduct research on engineering learning styles, develop engineering multimedia web presentations using Mosaic browser; deliver classes in HTML in Computational Mechanics and Scientific Visualization Department.

Automation Specialist. School of American Research, Indian Arts Research Center, 1992

Conduct a full scale inventory of collections with a team of two assistants, design database and train staff on how to input data, and present report on procedures to improve automated collection management of over 10,000 museum quality pieces.
